IHA’s Legislative Reception will be held at Maldaner’s at 222 S. 6th Street in Springfield on Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 5 - 8 p.m. CT. 

You are encouraged to attend the Illinois Health & Hospital Association’s (IHA) State Legislative Reception in Springfield on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Held the evening before the Governor’s joint State of the State and Budget Address, the reception offers a valuable opportunity for hospital and health system leaders to connect directly with Illinois legislators and constitutional officers, and to highlight critical healthcare priorities at a pivotal point in the legislative calendar.

As hospitals and health systems continue to navigate unprecedented financial, workforce, and regulatory challenges, it is more important than ever for policymakers to hear directly from hospital leaders. With the spring legislative session beginning in earnest, early engagement with elected officials helps build the relationships necessary to advance policies that support hospitals and health systems as they continue to transform healthcare delivery across Illinois. IHA’s State Legislative Reception provides a forum to engage with state legislators, strengthen existing relationships, and deliver a unified message on key hospital priorities.
