Awards Recognition
The 2023 IHA Advocacy Awards recognize three outstanding leaders who advocate for hospitals and their patients to advance Illinois healthcare in urban, rural and suburban settings.

The awards were presented during the 2023 IHA Leadership Summit. The recipients and their award categories are:
- Most Valuable AHA/IHA PAC Player—Robert Anderson, CEO, Central Region, OSF HealthCare, Peoria
- Most Valuable AHA/IHA PAC Player—Ted Rogalski, Administrator, Genesis Medical Center, Aledo
- AHA/IHA Grassroots Champion—Dean Harrison, Executive Chair, Northwestern Memorial HealthCare Board of Directors
The Most Valuable American Hospital Association (AHA)/IHA PAC Player Awards honor outstanding leaders who raise contributions on behalf of both the IHA and AHA Political Action Committees.
The AHA/IHA Grassroots Champion Award recognizes hospital leaders who most effectively educate elected officials on how major issues affect the hospital’s vital role in the community; have done an exemplary job in broadening the base of community support for hospitals; and are tireless advocates for hospitals and their patients.
