Patricia Clancy Kienle, RPh, MPA, BCSCP, FASHP
Director of Accreditation and Medication Safety, Cardinal Health

Kienle is widely recognized for her national leadership in medication safety and sterile compounding. She holds a pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, a master’s degree in public administration from Marywood University, and completed an executive fellowship in patient safety at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is Board Certified in sterile compounding and teaches as adjunct clinical faculty at Wilkes University.

Kienle has held key leadership roles in professional pharmacy organizations and has been honored with several of the field’s top awards, including the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Lifetime Achievement Award, John W. Webb Lecture Award, and Harvey A. K. Whitney Lecture Award. A prolific author and presenter, she has delivered hundreds of invited talks and written several authoritative resources, including The Chapter 795 Answer Book, The Chapter 797 Answer Book, and The Chapter 800 Answer Book.
