Carle Health's healthcare heroes are rising to the occasion to care for patients under incredible circumstances.

Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal

• Tiffany Boyd, Emergency Department Technician, has worked overtime to care for COVID-19 patients on the frontlines. She always goes above and beyond for her patients and colleagues.
• Justyna Koscielniak, Emergency Department Nurse, is an exceptional role model for teamwork. She always has a positive attitude and is recognized as a clinical expert.

Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana

• Maggie Hartnett, Unit Assistant and Healthcare Technician, works in the Advanced Care unit. She keeps a daily inventory of personal protective equipment and ensures staff have the proper supplies. Hartnett has also stepped up to help nursing staff care for COVID patients when needed.
• Alyssa Lingafelter, RN, Advanced Care/Stepdown ICU: Lingafelter has cared for mostly COVID patients since starting her nursing career. It is difficult caring for an influx of patients with varying ages and illness severity, but she has never faltered in providing quality care.
